AI drafts, a person approves: how we run social for Denver businesses
The workflow behind Phase 2 posts and ads: what AI drafts, what a person changes, what you see before anything goes public, and why the voice stays yours.
"AI-powered marketing" usually means one of two things. Either a person is doing all of it and the AI is a buzzword, or the AI is doing all of it and the posts sound like every other business in the city. Neither is what Phase 2 is. Here is the workflow, step by step.
The monthly plan
At the start of each month we set the plan with you: what you want more of (exterior repaints, monthly detailing plans, spring bookings), what is happening (a season, a promotion, a new crew), and what photos exist. Ten minutes on a call or a text thread.
AI drafts the volume
From that plan, AI produces the first drafts: a month of posts for Facebook and Instagram, three or four variants of each, captions sized for each platform, and the first pass at ad copy. This is where AI earns its keep. It is fast and it does not mind writing the fortieth version of "spring exteriors book now."
A person edits for voice
Then a person reads every draft. Most get changed. A painter in Arvada does not talk like a coach in Boulder, and neither of them talks like a language model. The edits are about how you actually say things: the words you use for your work, what you would never claim, what your customers already know about you.
Anything with a fact in it (a price, a claim about results, a timeframe) gets checked against what you told us or removed.
You approve before it goes public
You see the month's posts and the ad copy before any of it runs. Approve, change, or kill each one from your phone. Nothing goes public without that step, and it stays that way after month one.
Automation runs the schedule
Approved posts go out on the schedule. Ads launch with the copy you approved and the budget you set. Comments and messages land in the same inbox as your texts, so a question on a post gets answered like a lead, because it is one.
A person reads the numbers
Once a month you get a few sentences, not a dashboard: what ran, what it cost, what came in, what we are changing. Budget changes are your call. If an ad is not working, we say so and stop it.
Why the voice never gets outsourced
Your customers hire you because of how you do the work and how you talk about it. The moment the posts sound generic, the proof is gone. AI is the right tool for volume and variants. It is the wrong tool for deciding what you would say. That stays with a person, and the last word stays with you.
